- Sunday, December 8 (Zoom calls during the marathon). I will host a series of 10-minute zoom calls every hour, starting at 9:00 a.m. This is an opportunity for you to check in with me and your teammates during the marathon. I’ll use the same link we’ve used on Mondays and Wednesday during the training.
- Photo taking, Sunday, December 8. I will take photos as you finish your event (10K or 42K). 10K finishers: please wave at me as you approach the split in Kalakaua and Monsarrat (I’ll be sitting on the road in the white triangle). If you don’t get my attention I will probably miss you, so, please look for me. Thanks. The marathoners: please text me 808-391-8598 as you enter the park. And, wave when you see me sitting on the grassy medial strip just before the Kalakaua tennis courts.
- Cheer for our 42K finishers on Sunday, December 8. Join Brian during the marathon on the grassy medial strip on the Diamond Head side of the Kalakaua Tennis courts. Bring a chair and some refreshments. Dress for the weather.
- Wednesday, December 11. Completion party and awards presentation at Brian’s place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. (note, the date for this event has been changed from the originally posted Saturday date). This is a potluck dinner and our final get together. Please plan to be there. And, bring a guest if they were a close and significant support person during your marathon training.
- Holiday workout schedule. If there is interest, I will organize a holiday workout schedule on Mondays and Saturdays starting December 14 through January 4 (when the new year training begins).
