This course explores the Hard-Easy System (HES) through a series of recorded discussions between an avid recrerational racer and coach Brian Clarke.

Conversations with Charlene R. on the Hard-Easy System

A 2-hour video program covering the brief version (used in the group course), plus a recorded, in-class conversation between coach Clarke and Charlene R.

Charlene is an avid 35-year-old recreational distance runner. She has been previously misled by her coaches and will have to unlearn beliefs and attitudes which have negatively impacted her training and racing career. Fortunately, Charlene is learning the distance running game under the guidance of an expert who knows the reality of adaptive training.
